Turmeric essential oil has a warm, earthy aromatic scent. It is yellow/orange in colour and is extracted from the root of the Turmeric plant. In massage it is diluted and known to be effective in treatment of inflammation and muscular pain. Diluted it is often used on skin with to decrease pore size and reduce wrinkles. It is also packed with vitamins, in particular vitamin C.
